Can you help me find a 36 hour day?

If not that is ok.... most people say they don't know how to do that. Apparently I have looked like I needed help lately because everyone keeps asking if there is anything they can do to help control the craziness going on here. We are fine just busy busy busy.

First off the Disneyland Half was sooooooo much fun! Not my best run ever but definitely the funnest. For no training, not being totally cleared by my orthopedic guy and only being 12 weeks out of surgery I would say a finish time of 2:32 isn't too shabby! :)

3rd week of school and we are off and running. Soccer has started for both Hunter and Jorden and yet again our game schedule overlaps almost every game this season.... fun for us! They both love to play though so Saturday mornings we divide and conquer!

Hunter started piano lessons this last week and already LOVES it! The over achiever in him is showing up in this aspect of his life too. He had all of his songs memorized in 2 days! Let's see how long this excitement lasts!

Yesterday afternoon Jorden was roller blading (yes I said roller blading) around the kitchen and overheard the TV and announced to all within ear shot the Oprah was on and she liked Oprah and that Oprah was pretty! Ok ...little odd given I don't normally watch Oprah but apparently Jorden is a big fan!

We had a very fun weekend this last week. Uncle Josh and Melissa came down to visit for her birthday. We went to see Matt Kearney down at the House of Blues on Friday night and had tons of fun. He is awesome if you haven't heard him go check him out.

Well off to get kids from school! Bart leaves on Saturday for 8 days of fishing and golfing and a long deserved vacation. That means 3 days to get on top of everything around here while I still have some help. Wish me luck.... I am going to need it.

It's the most wonderful time of the year....

Well it is official! They are both in school. Hunter woke up this morning and was ready to go by 7:15. That boy wanted to get back to normal! Jorden on the other hand got up and had a little bit of a hard time getting moving. We made it though, tomorrow could be interesting.

As you can see Hunter has finally gotten a little bit taller than his little sister this summer. He has grown a ton!

Here is my 'big' girl who isn't so big. We did manage to get out the door this morning without any melt downs over clothes or hair or shoes! I swear she has already hit the preteen phase. FUN :)

Hunter hoped right into class ahead of us and couldn't even slow down to say bye. Did I mention he was excited about being back at school?

Almost every other kid in her class had tears but not Jorden. She was more interested in the play dough sitting in front of her. I think she was irritated that I wanted to say bye to her - I was taking up play time.

No tears this year ~ not even mom. I am looking forward to picking them up and getting the update on everything that happened today!
