A very hill filled weekend + 1 mountain at mile 11.5!!!!

Half #5 doneand got my best time yet :) (#1 2:16 ~ #2 2:38 ~ #3 2:18 ~ #4 2:19... and #5...

I will post pics later... thanks to some fabulous girl friends we had a hillariously fun weekend. and you know that .1 will get you every time :)

An hour playing at the park can do everyone some good!

Another exhausting weekend with Bart gone and by the time we got home from church I think all three of us were a little edgy (some of us more than others). So instead of jumping into the dinner rush we went to the park.... made for a much better night! So the wild things strapped on their rollerblades and I grabbed the camera (MEGAN THAT WAS FOR YOU SO YOU CAN STOP TELLING ME TO POST PICTURES :p) and off we went.

Yes against all better judgement we let her do the monkey bars.... and hope we aren't going to get to take another helicopter flight anytime soon.....

Have you ever wondered how differantly your kids see the world around them. Well Hunter asked to take a picture and normally when I have my big camera I say no but since he is only about a month away from being 8 I guess I have to let him do some big kid things.... so below is what I came home with thanks to my budding photographer....

We finally did it!

Well Bart and I finally did it. We went on a vacation with just us and left the kids home! I know it is hard to believe.... but we did and we even went far away. At the end of January he had a conference in Puerto Rico. Who can pass up perfect temps and a beach for 4 days in January?!?!?! So I went and sat on the beach and read a book... (I know so many unbelievable things in one post :P). Now we are really looking forward to our 10 year anniversary trip this fall now that I know the kids will be fine and my business won't implode if I leave for a few day... hopefully.

This was in Old San Juan... a huge fort from the Spanish American War.... on Sunday this field out front was full of people and tons of kites... full of energy and when we went back on Tuesday it was totally empty

While in Salt Lake this Christmas we discovered we have winter sport kind of kids. Hunter put on skis and ice skates and could just go without any help and without falling! Maybe we live in the wrong state..... oh wait, no his mom is a cold weather wimp :)
